Project Description
This project consists of audio recordings of narrative productions elicited using the Free Fall picture book by David Wiesner (1988), a standard stimulus from the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2). The dataset includes both autistic and non-autistic adults, with approximately 15-20 participants in each group. Participants are Cantonese speakers from Hong Kong. The autistic group comprises high-functioning adults with a clinical diagnosis of autism spectrum condition, while the comparison group includes neurotypical adults. All participants were asked to narrate the Free Fall picture story, enabling the examination of spontaneous narrative structure, semantic organization, and language use. The recordings are in Cantonese and are intended for research purposes.
